Who We Are

Hi-Point Church of Christ is a loving family of believers. We are joined as one body of believers where Jesus Christ is the head of the church and the Word of God is the final authority. From the moment you walk through the doors, you will feel God's love for you from every person you meet. Come as you are and wear what ever you feel comfortable in, and be ready for a welcome like you have never had before!

 

What to expect from HPCC

 

Expect a warm, accepting and loving attitude. Expect a group of Christians assembled to worship God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Expect the Word of God (The Bible) to be at the center of all we are and do (John 4:24; Acts 2:42, 20:7; 1 Cororinthians 16:2; Ephesians 5:19; 1Timothy 2:8; 2 Timothy 2:25). Expect corporate worship to be born out of private worship; praise songs, hymns, drama, and general celebration of our God. We preach God's Word. We observe the Lord's Supper weekly. We set aside gifts of tithes and offerings for the Lord's work. We are under the authority of God's Word and seek to offer (graded) Bible studies, Youth, Women's and Men's meetings, etc... (1 Peter 4:11, Galations 1:8-9, Revelation 22:18-19).

 

How is the Church Governed?

 

We have NO earthly headquarters. We find Christ and His Word alone are sufficient. Leaders are chosen from among active, Biblically qualified members; Elders, Deacons, and Trustees. These are mandated to lead HPCC. (Ephesians 4:11; Acts 6; 1 Timothy 3:8-13). Christ is our only Creed (Matthew 16:16) Christian is our only name (Acts 11:26).
